It’s nice to meet you.

Joanna Gattuso (she/her)

Hi, I’m Joey.

My career started in public health program management, specifically in reproductive and sexual health programs. As a recovering non-profit manager, I am deeply familiar with the unique opportunities and challenges of the non-profit system. I want to see workplace cultures shift toward something more sacred, more aligned with our truest purpose. I want our organizations to be imaginative, caring, and nimble to change. This is the vision I bring as a facilitative leader.

I am a 2015 graduate of the MA in Public Health program at Northeastern University and a 2016 Fellow with the Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership. I have been trained in Facilitative Leadership and Racial Justice Facilitation through the Interaction Institute for Social Change. I am a 2018 participant in the Evolutionary Leadership retreat.

My clients include non-profit organizations, state agencies, community coalitions and health center teams. I am a current board member at Neighborhood Birth Center, Boston’s first independent birth center.

Current and former clients include:

  • Accompany Doula Care

  • Mabel Wadsworth Center

  • Harvard Center for Primary Care

  • Manet Community Health Center

  • MA DPH Office of Sexual Health and Youth Development
